Arlington Heights, IL - Weber Marking Systems will showcase the entire range of its labeling capabilities - including its new Corner-Wrap label printer-applicator - at its Pack Expo International booth S-2360 at Chicago's McCormick Place, October 29 to November 2, 2006.
Weber will demonstrate an array of labeling solutions, including label applicators and printer-applicators for both pressure-sensitive and RFID labeling. Particular emphasis will be placed on its Model 5200 Corner-Wrap label printer-applicator, which combines high-quality label printing with a specially designed label applicator that affixes a single label around the corner of a carton.
In addition to offering a selection of print engines that addresses various print speeds and resolutions, Weber's Corner-Wrap system is available with an optional RFID print-encode engine that will satisfy the emerging requirements of today's supply chain. Standard thermal/thermal-transfer print engines produce text, bar codes and graphic images at 203 or 300 dpi. The RFID model combines printing capabilities with the encoding and verification of RFID inlays to meet the specifications of EPC Gen 1 and 2 protocols.
Weber also will feature a broad offering of pressure-sensitive label materials, including blank labels, variable imprint custom labels, point-of-sale prime labels, and RFID smart labels.
