Fort Loramie, OH - Select-Arc, Inc. now offers two low alloy steel electrodes that are designed for applications requiring the coloration and corrosion resistance of the weathering type of structural steels.
Select 810-W is a gas-shielded, flux cored, all position wire that contains alloy additions that match those of the weathering steels such as ASTM A588. This electrode is commonly used in bridge construction and other structural components utilized in highway construction.
Select 80C-W is a composite metal cored electrode that delivers higher deposition rates than solid wires and reduces cold-lap on heavier plate or scaled areas. It is typically employed in the welding of bridges, transmission towers and poles and some building construction.
Select 810-W is available in .045", .052" and 1/16" diameters, Select 80C-W in .035", .045", .052" and 1/16" sizes.
