ASA Education Foundation to Offer Essentials of Profitable Warehouse Operations© Seminars this Fall
Chicago, IL - Responding to the overwhelmingly positive response to its Essentials of Profitable Warehouse Operations© introductory workshops this past Spring, the ASA Education Foundation has scheduled four additional workshops. Collaborating with ASA regional affiliates Wholesalers Association of the North East (WANE) and the Western Suppliers Association (WSA), ASAEF will offer the full-day workshops in Philadelphia, PA on September 21, Syracuse, NY on September 22, Westborough, MA on September 23 and Oakland, CA on September 29.
The workshops summarize the content of the Essentials of Profitable Warehouse Operations© certificate course. In addition to the full day's instruction, participants in the course also receive their own copy of the course book and the right to take the final exam and earn a Certificate of Completion.
Industry veteran Jason Bader of The Distribution Team, a well-respected warehouse and inventory consulting firm, will lead the workshop instruction. During the course of the day, Bader will prompt the participants to "search for cash in the warehouse" through an interactive and unique exercise. The search will include ways to cut costs, save time, eliminate errors, cut shrinkage and more. Earlier this year, participants of the course took away a list of 35 different ways to "look for cash" and increase their warehouse's profitability. Patrick Lafayette of Valley Supply who attended the Ohio seminar shared his experience this way, "I thought the training was super and I thought Jason Bader did a splendid job. The crew that travelled with me felt that the training was very beneficial also."
