Inductotherm Brazil has promoted the many benefits of being part of the Inductotherm Group and WEG, an Inductotherm customer for 20 years has been able to, once again, take advantage of the Group.
Inductotherm Group Brazil announces the start of operations at the most modern and fully automated iron foundry in Brazil to date. Confidence in the Inductotherm Group is why WEG, one of Brazil's largest multi-national companies, chose Inductotherm for their new foundry's melting operations and melt deck.
Provided was a complete set of induction melting, holding and pouring equipment that includes: a 6000 kW VIP® Dual-Trak® induction power supply connected to two 8 ton Heavy Steel Shell furnaces; a 1000 kW VIP® Power-Melt® induction power supply connected to a 60/71 ton channel furnace for holding molten metal and an Automated Pressure Pouring System with vision pouring controls to provide a safer and more precise method of casting. All the equipment is totally integrated into one system for complete melt shop control.
