Indiana, PA: Quintech Electronics, a leader in RF Signal Management Solutions, announced today that WBNS in Columbus, OH has purchased an XRM2250 L-Band matrix as part of a facility upgrade.
WBNS, a member of the Dispatch Group of stations was looking for a solution to more efficiently switch their large number of RF feeds to a growing set of receivers. They have selected the XRM for the facility based on its high reliability and redundancy.
The XRM2250 features a 3-stage switch design which provides redundant RF signal paths and automated re-routing in the event of a crosspoint fault. It features hot swappable cards, redundant power supplies, and system controller in a 6 RU design. It also features input attenuation, built in self test capability, and serial and Ethernet control as well as a front panel display and keypad. The XRM is compatible with most monitor and control systems.
