On May 4-6, WBF 2009 North American Conference will be co-locating with 2009 OMAC Integration Symposium. Events will be based around theme "Expanding the Horizons of Manufacturing: Learning and Sharing with the Leaders in Automation and Manufacturing. WBF 2009 North American Conference is calling for papers focused on current and evolving manufacturing methods and technologies, and implementation of industry standards including ISA88, ISA95, ISA99, B2MML, and Make2Pack.

WBF Releases Call for Papers for Co-Located 2009 Event



Research Triangle Park, NC (15 October 2008) - WBF will be co-locating the WBF 2009 North American Conference with the 2009 OMAC Integration Symposium. The co-located events will be held 4-6 May 2009 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Durham, North Carolina,. Both organizations are accepting abstracts for the co-located event until 14 November 2008.

OMAC and WBF are co-locating their 2009 events to increase networking opportunities for attendees and reach more automation professionals with a great breadth of industry topics.

The WBF 2009 North American Conference is calling for papers focused on current and evolving manufacturing methods and technologies, and the implementation of industry standards including ISA88, ISA95, ISA99, B2MML, and Make2Pack.

Both the 2009 OMAC Integration Symposium and the WBF 2009 North American Conference will construct their events around the theme "Expanding the Horizons of Manufacturing: Learning and Sharing with the Leaders in Automation and Manufacturing." Individuals interested in submitting an abstract should use this theme as a guide for his or her presentation topic.

Abstracts should be concise and comprehensible and include the paper title, keywords, introductory sentence(s) that creates interest in the topic, a brief definition of problem domain, a brief description of solution method (no details), and a brief summary of results and conclusions (no details). Abstracts must be in English and should be between 100-250 words.

WBF is asking for papers related to, but not limited to:

o Expanding the Horizons of Manufacturing IT

o Expanding the Horizons of Industrial Security

o Expanding the Horizons of Business to Manufacturing Integration

o Expanding the Horizons of Manufacturing Operations Management
