Purchase expands product offerings to the biopharmaceutical market
NEWARK, Del., Feb. 28 -- W. L. Gore & Associates today announced it has acquired Amesil, a privately held, US-based provider of non- reactive fluid transport, containment and sampling solutions to the pharmaceutical and bioprocess markets. Amesil has 46 employees and is located in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. Financial details were not disclosed.
GORE(TM) PharmBIO Products is a leading supplier of high-value technology products to the pharmaceutical industry. Gore is known for setting new standards for reliability and performance in a variety of global markets for nearly 50 years.
Through this acquisition, Gore will continue to enhance its product leadership in the biopharmaceutical category. Gore will continue to manufacture and sell Amesil products with the same high standards and outstanding commitment to service.

Gore is in the process of finalizing long-term integration plans. Gore will continue to manufacture Amesil's products in Oak Ridge, NJ.
