Garden City, New York --- During the past several years, Tai Wang,co-principal and co-founder of W.A.C. Lighting, has helped sponsor the Long Island City, NY-based LaGuardia Community College Foundation.
Under Mrs. Wang's guidance, W.A.C. Lighting has presented extremely generous gifts to support student scholarships and cultivate others to do the same. She has enhanced the Foundation's public image by clearly articulating its mission, accomplishments and goals to the public, as well as garnering support from important members of the media in the Asian-American community.
Ms. Wang has been a dedicated, committed member of the Board of Directors of the LaGuardia Community College Foundation since September 2003. Mrs. Wang and the W.A.C. Lighting family fully supports the Foundation, which provides financial assistance for scholarships, endowed chairs, equipment, and capital projects that are not covered by tuition and New York City and State financing.
