Dan O?Donohue, who works in the Marketing department in the Garden City, NY-based corporate offices, was named Rookie of the Year for his significant contributions during his first year of service.
Bo Chen, who is a member of the Marketing Team based in corporate headquarters, won the Above & Beyond Award for his ability to take initiative and be consistently productive and creative in suggesting ways to make work processes better.
The Inspiration Award was given to Michael Stanton of the Accounting Department. This award recognizes the associate who maintains a positive approach and attitude in all that he/she does and whose contagious positive energy inspires others to want to do great things.
Jami Kitz, based in W.A.C. Lighting?s in-house Sales Department in its corporate headquarters, received the Achievement Award. The Achievement Award recognizes the associate who has forged ahead in the face of challenge and has made the most of opportunities to accomplish his or her goals this year.
Laurie Cannella, Human Resources Manager, received the Leadership Award for her leadership through professionalism, compassion, and enthusiasm and her commitment to developing the W.A.C. Lighting staff to a high performance team.
The Accounting Department received the Team Spirit Award as for their ability to work closely together toward a common vision and goal for the organization. This team has combined individual strengths and collective ideas to attain uncommon results.
