CITY OF INDUSTRY, CALIF. --- W.A.C. Lighting General Manager Shelley Wang has appointed Chris Johnston to Western Regional Sales Manager. W.A.C. Lighting is a leading designer and manufacturer of track, recessed, undercabinet, decorative and monorail lighting.
In his new position, Mr. Johnston will work closely with lighting showrooms and residential sales agencies to continue the growth of W.A.C. Lighting. In addition, he will work with designers, engineers, specifiers and commercial sales agencies to grow W2 Architectural Lighting, W.A.C. Lighting's commercial division. Mr. Johnston will oversee sales in all states west of the Mississippi, as well as Mexico and Central America. Mr. Johnston brings more than 25-years of lighting industry experience. His last position was with Lightolier as a Senior Sales Representative. He has also been a principal of the JLA-Johnston Lighting Associates sales agency representing several lighting manufacturers. In addition, he served as General Manager for Channelite, a manufacturing company of lighting display systems, and worked for Nutone as a Sales Rep, National Quotations Manager and Cost Accounting Supervisor.
Mr. Johnston has been an active member of the ALA (American Lighting Association), with his last position being the Chairperson of the Education Foundation's Board of Trustees.
Mr. Johnston attended the University of Miami, Ohio School of Architecture and the University of Cincinnati.
