WESTBURY, NEW YORK --- W.A.C. Lighting General Manager Shelley Wang announced its Annual Employee Awards at the firm's Winter Event, which was held at Westbury Manor. W.A.C. Lighting is a leading designer and manufacturer of track, recessed, undercabinet, decorative and monorail lighting.
John Camp, National Sales Manager, received the "Leadership Award" for acting as a role model for the sales department and the company. Ms. Wang explained, "John always takes a strategic outlook at driving improvement and inspires others to grow on a professional level. He has worked diligently in the field with W.A.C. Lighting reps and Sales Managers, to better serve customers across North America."
Jami Kitz, Inside Sales Manager, received the "Business Impact" Award for her significant contributions in the sales department. "Jami has helped consolidate customer service, technical support and inside sales departments together into the newly created Account Management Team," explained Ms. Wang. "With her consistent, compassionate and fair-minded style, she has raised service standards for customers to a new level of excellence."
Melissa Miller Cobbs received the "Customer Service" Award for her superior efforts in customer service, leadership, professionalism and positive spirit. According to Ms. Wang, "Melissa has led the team with the highest marks on the customer satisfaction surveys and regularly receives accolades from customers and reps."
Thomas Luk, an Associate Account Executive, received the "Inspiration Award" for maintaining a positive attitude and inspiring his colleagues. He is enthusiastic and driven to succeed in all of his endeavors.
Eric Huang received the "Quality Award" for his many contributions to the organization. As a Purchasing Associate, he has successfully ensured inventory supply to meet the demands of our customers and to minimize backorders.
Alex Ng, Network Administrator, received the "Above & Beyond Award" for his dedication. He played a major role in the implementation of the new internal communications system.
The Manufacturing Team, based in Garden City, NY, received the "Team Spirit Award" for working together and driving each other to achieve outstanding results.
