Morganville, New Jersey, Oct. 5, 2011 - Vytran, an innovative supplier of optical fiber splicing and processing solutions, has hired Fernando Terceiro as its European Sales Manager. Fernando brings Vytran more than 15 years combined experience in technical customer support, business development and sales management-particularly in the optical fiber splicing business.

"Fernando brings a strong knowledge of the specialty fiber splicer market and significant experience developing that business in Europe. He has a proven track record of managing a sales team as well as a large number of distributors. He is also very focused on customer care, which fits well with Vytran's goal of providing support from the sales process through the lifetime of our product at a customer's facility."
Fernando joins Vytran from marine data services and products company ChartCo Ltd., where he was channel manager. He has also been United Kingdom and Ireland sales director for Draka Communications. Prior, Fernando spent nearly eight years as the United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East sales manager for Fujikura Europe, Ltd., where he developed the company's optical fusion splicing business. Fernando earned a B.A. in business studies from The Open University and holds several certifications in project management and sales.
