Oosterhout, the Netherlands - Vitronics Soltec announces first installation of its MR933 reflow soldering system to a European electronics manufacturer. The MR933 was formally introduced to the European market at the recent Productronica show. The sale was made by Scanditron Sverige AB, Vitronics Soltec's representative in the Scandinavian territory.
In making the announcement, Marc Dalderup, VP Sales and Support Americas and Europe, said, "This installation marks a significant milestone for us, since it is the first MR933 installed in the E.U. The customer is impressed with the quality of the unit as well as the success and speed of the flawless installation. In terms of process performance and mechanical operation, the MR933 delivers great value for the price. We feel that the MR933 will soon be very popular among European electronics manufacturers."

Vitronics Soltec's China-based manufacturing facility has been producing equipment for three years for Asian customers, and has built and shipped over 600 units. There are more than 500 MR933 systems in operation today.
MR933 employs a highly-efficient and powerful forced convection heat transfer module design with Vitronics Soltec's Precision Profiling® control that means lower machine setpoints - for minimal Delta-T across the board - and optimized flat-topped lead-free reflow profiles, for board after board and small or large lot repeatability. Controlled Product Cooling options allow the customer to meet specific and demanding application challenges and optimize the lead-free soldering process.
