Temecula, CA - May 8, 2006 - Visual Records announces the upcoming release of their comprehensive traveling advisory software, Traveler. Developed in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente's Travel Clinic, the software system tracks a traveler's health conditions/statuses and based on these conditions/statuses, it determines what immunizations and prescriptions the traveler needs when traveling to any country.
The enterprise solution not only provides immunizations and prescriptions recommendations, but it will also show immunizations and prescriptions that are contraindications to the traveler as well as provide information about possible health risks, state departmental warnings and handouts.
The software was designed to reflect all the working levels and processes of a travel advisory program, such as granting specific rights to the Travel Administrators (usually, a Registered Nurse), who would enter the information and generate necessary forms/reports, the physicians who would approve the prescriptions and the Security Administrator who would manage users and their roles.
Traveler has the following unique features:
o Step-by-step procedure to manage administrative generic information (such as countries, diseases and physicians), trip information (such as duration, country visit order and length of stay in malaria countries) and traveler information (such as age, medical history and current medications).
o Complex process made simple by using an intuitive user interface through Windows based program, pull-down menus and color travel icons.
o Report generation either individually or through batches to monitor progress and status of each trip.
By using Traveler, healthcare providers now have a robust and secure solution to ensuring that their traveling patients are traveling as safe as possible, since all the necessary precautions and steps have been taken to protect these travelers on their trips.
