VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., -- Visteon Corporation (OTC: VSTO), a leading global automotive supplier, will showcase its latest mobile electronics innovations at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Jan. 6-9. Highlights will include the North American debut of Visteon's C-Beyond technology demonstration vehicle - featuring more than 40 innovative products in infotainment and connectivity, climate, interior systems and exterior lighting - and a new technology demonstration vehicle developed with 3M and targeted at consumers in growth markets around the world.

In addition to these in-vehicle demonstrations, Visteon will share innovations in vehicle cockpit electronics and human machine interaction - encompassing audio, infotainment, connectivity, driver information and integrated control panels - through a range of interactive displays at its exhibit in the Central Plaza (CP20) outside the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"Visteon is capitalizing on the world's largest consumer electronics show to showcase the many ways we are integrating advanced electronics into the vehicle cockpit, keeping drivers connected with their vehicles and the outside world, and making it easier for them to interact with features they need," said Steve Meszaros, Visteon product group president. "With consumer electronics technologies advancing rapidly, Visteon offers vehicle manufacturers the opportunity to rapidly integrate many exciting new product features that enhance driver comfort, personalization and attentiveness, and are designed for the life of the vehicles."

The C-Beyond, developed on a C-segment vehicle body, demonstrates how seamless connectivity and sustainable mobility may influence how consumers interact with their vehicles in the near future. It features concepts ranging from advanced navigation with pre-journey planning and real time traffic updates to precision controls with advanced haptic feedback. The C-Beyond has received enthusiastic reviews from vehicle manufacturers throughout Europe, Japan and China.

Through the Growth Market Vehicle Project, Visteon and 3M - a recognized leader in research and development - have developed products specifically targeted at delivering exceptional value for both passenger cars and two-wheelers in rapidly growing markets, such as those in Asia, Eastern Europe and South America.

Visteon is bringing the benefits of the Internet to the automobile through platforms that add value for automakers and consumers. In-vehicle connectivity solutions that Visteon will display at CES include:
-- An online marketplace featuring a "Wall of Apps" showcasing innovations in navigation, radio, voice, traffic and more;
-- Scalable platform solutions for next-generation infotainment, fully compliant with requirements of the GENIVI open source software alliance, of which Visteon is a founding member; and
-- Integration of flexible operating systems and platforms, compatible with consumer electronics industry standards such as Qt(TM), Java(TM) and Android(TM)

Visteon will also display a range of products that enhance what consumers see, hear and touch in the vehicle. Examples of Visteon's innovative human-machine interaction (HMI) technologies at CES will include:
-- Intuitive controls including gesture recognition, haptics, multifunction controllers, reconfigurable displays and the iPad(TM) as an interface to the in-vehicle infotainment system; and
-- Media management using instinctive command and control of multimedia content.

Visteon's environmentally conscious mobile electronics solutions integrate functions, reduce weight and power, and utilize recyclable materials while maximizing re-use of key platform elements across product applications.
