Vista System International, a fast growing Israel based pioneer and world leader in Modular Curved Frame (MCFT) Technology with US based operations in Sarasota, Florida, recently supplied this exquisite curved style poster display panel and much more for an installation by Sign Select of Waterford, Ireland at the Dungarvan Credit Union in Dungarvan, Waterford, Ireland. Internal signage and displays were designed for the Dungarvan Credit Union installation using the Vista System, which works with virtually anything. With a little imagination, signage professionals can create functional yet attention-getting pieces of signage for anything. The Dungarvan Credit Union in Waterford, Southern Ireland is a chain of credit unions in Ireland that is first and foremost a community based financial service provider. They are similar to a bank, but much more approachable. This local credit union underwent a substantial refurbishment, which included new signage, display and community information. There was a tremendous need for these signage systems at this credit union since nothing preceded it. The systems were designed in a manner that could be adapted easily to other types of financial institutions and businesses.
Sign Select acquired the contract and was given a short brief. The rest was left in their very capable hands to come up with colorful, eye-catching displays and posters to provide members with information on new services offered as well as enticing visual reinforcements on existing ones. When presented with Vista, the client was very pleased to see how effective this would be for the job in question. Sign Select accepted the entire signage project which included designing a series of seasonal promotional posters which would also be displayed in Vista Panels. To add a unique touch, Vista signage extrusions were cut into a curvaceous design shape that provided a real touch of class, style, and something a little different. Also as required, the system was easy to use. The Vista System was selected since it met all the desired objectives and offered unmatched variety, and dependability, which were other necessities.
The project had a deadline of 2 months for project completion, which included design and installation. The unique shape of the Vista panels presented a challenge. Cutting a curve from the V500 panels was more difficult due to the thickness of the overall extrusion. Vista created a template, so that it formed a guide. They simply used an aluminum blade in a jigsaw to cut the curves out. New end caps also needed to be created to fit over the curved area. Vista System formed a template for each curve and it was shaped until it fit snuggly. They then drilled holes to match the screw ports. The Credit Union was very pleased with the results as shown in the photo. Final delivery was ahead of schedule in just 6 weeks.
