MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA January 5, 2007 Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) is pleased to announce that its Asian subsidiary, Vishay Intertechnology Asia Pte Ltd, recently received a certificate of accomplishment from Agilent Technologies in recognition of its excellent support to the latter between November 2005 and December 2006. Vishay had successfully supported and fulfilled Agilents quick orders for electronic components which, in turn, had enabled Agilent to enhance its quarterly sales forecasts.

Vishay is one of the world's largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. Agilent, the worlds premier measurement company, provides core electronics and bio-analytical measurement tools to advance the electronics, communications, life science research and environmental and petrochemical industries.

Mr. Frederick Yiong, Vishays Senior Director of Sales for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), India, and Australia/New Zealand, received the certificate on November 1, 2006, in Penang, Malaysia. Presenting it was Mr. Voon Kuan Gin, Agilents Strategic SBM and CM Manager (Asia/Pacific), EMG Group.
