Vishay Intertechnology Releases Four New Engineering Design Kits for D/CRCW e3 Thick Film Chip Resistors

Offered in 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 Case Sizes, Convenient Kits Each Feature E96 Series Resistance Values From 10W to 1 MW (Every Fourth Value), in Addition to a 0W Jumper

MALVERN, Pa. - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today introduced four new engineering design kits for its AEC-Q200-qualified D/CRCW e3 thick film chip resistors. Designed to help engineers select the perfect resistor for their applications, the kits offer the commercial-off-the-shelf devices in 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes and a wide variety of resistance values, conveniently taped in strips and individually labeled and packaged.

The four design kits released today feature E96 series resistance values from 10W to 1 MW (every fourth value) - in addition to a 0W jumper - for 122 different values each. The resistors provide tolerance of ± 1 %, TCR of ± 100 ppm/K, power dissipation (P70) from 0.063 W to 0.25 W, and limiting element voltage from 50 V to 200 V.

The D/CRCW e3 thick film chip resistors are ideal for automotive, industrial equipment, telecom infrastructure, consumer, and computer applications. The devices are compliant to RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and halogen-free according to the IEC 61249-2-21 definition.

Specification Table:
Product Rated dissipation P70 Limiting element voltage Quantity
D10/CRCW0402 e3 0.063 W 50 V 122 x 100
D11/CRCW0603 e3 0.10 W 75 V 122 x 50
D12/CRCW0805 e3 0.125 W 150 V 122 x 50
D25/CRCW1206 e3 0.25 W 200 V 122 x 50

Samples and production quantities of the new engineering design kits are available now, with lead times of six weeks. Pricing for U.S. delivery only starts at $100. Follow Vishay thick film resistors at http://twitter.com/vishayindust.
