Vishay Honored With 2012 Best Supplier Award from WKK
MALVERN, Pa. —Â Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced that Vishay Hong Kong Ltd. has been honored with a 2012 Best Supplier Award from WKK Technology Limited, a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider and a subsidiary of Wong's Kong King International (Holdings) Ltd. (WKK), publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Based in Hong Kong, WKK manufactures electronic products including computer and office automation, telecommunications, industrial control, automotive, medical and healthcare, HVAC and appliances, aerospace, and education electronics.
WKK's Best Supplier Awards recognize the suppliers that have provided the highest overall performance over the preceding year. This year, winners were chosen from more than 47 leading semiconductor and passive component suppliers by the company's sourcing, purchasing, and engineering teams.
Victor Lim, Vishay's Senior Sales Director, Asia Distribution, received the award on behalf of Vishay at a ceremony in Hong Kong on Feb. 6.
