Press release date: January 27, 2009

January 2009; Port Royal, PA -- Vibro Industries (Vibro) celebrates 25 years since the introduction of its premium line of Air-Operated Transporter Conveying Systems. Vibro first introduced the 100% Air-Operated Transporter Conveying System to the USA in 1984. Since that time, Vibro Air-Operated Transporters have been reengineered to provide oil-less operation (no lubrication required) and have been field tested under actual manufacturing conditions at New Standard Corporation, York, PA, since September 2006. They continue to perform successfully in a variety of conveying applications in manufacturing and processing operations.

The concept behind the operation of the Vibro Air-Operated Transporter is two pneumatic cylinders (not springs) that operate on air pressure to move a product-tray back and forth, causing the material to steadily advance. With the high cost of energy, the Vibro Air-Operated Transporter's low air consumption (.09 CFM @ 60 PSI) and oil-less operation makes it quieter, more efficient and less costly to operate.

The Vibro Air-Operated Transporter is adaptable to existing production lines and can transport a wide range of materials quietly and efficiently, without the downtime typically required for quick die changes, clean-up, and repair attributed to ordinary conveyers. The line now consists of seven units of varying capacities. All models are warranted for two years and made entirely in the USA. After two years or when needed, they can be factory rebuilt and warranted again for two more years.

Vibro Air-Operated Transporters were first introduced in Europe five years prior to their introduction in the U.S. market. Olverken A.B., Vislanda, Sweden, was the first company to operate the VibroTransporter line. American machining and fabricating companies welcomed the Vibro Transporter because the concept of "oscillating conveying" was easily adaptable. Oscillating conveying was already in practice in Europe before the USA.

"Our 25 year success is based on the longevity of our transporters and the customer service that we provide," said Leroy Johnson, President of Vibro Industries. "Our transporters are found in leading manufacturing companies worldwide," he added.

The Vibro Air-Operated Transporter is an excellent choice for removing scrap from beneath machine tools, materials handling operations, pharmaceutical or other processing applications. Plus, it is an excellent alternative to conventional conveying systems because of its low-profile design which enables easy installation and maintenance in cramped areas.
