December 28, 2010 - Ward Hill, MA - Alfa Aesar, a Johnson Matthey Company, is pleased to announce that VWR Singapore Pte. Ltd has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of Alfa Aesar products within Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, with effect January 1, 2011.
As part of the agreement, VWR Singapore is placing a substantial amount of Alfa Aesar products in its inventory in Singapore. By offering distribution of many of Alfa Aesar's line of more than 33,000 research chemicals, metals and materials from stock in the local region, Alfa Aesar and VWR are confident this arrangement will offer significant benefits to the research community in this rapidly expanding market. In addition to adding the quality and selection of products from Alfa Aesar, VWR Singapore customers will also enjoy improved lead times and cost reductions.
