VSS Monitoring, the world leader in Network Intelligence Optimization, today announced that it has named former Aruba Networks VP of Sales Dave Butler as its new VP of Global Sales, and has named former NetScout Systems VP of Sales Dean Beaver as its new VP of Global Alliances.

In his new role, Mr. Butler is responsible for expanding VSS Monitoring's revenue worldwide - including expanding the company's penetration into new geographic and vertical markets - as well as for managing field sales, inside sales, and channel operations. Mr. Butler brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience to VSS Monitoring. Previously he served as VP of Sales during the explosive growth phases of Aruba Networks, FireEye, FORE Systems, and Inktomi. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, and a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
Mr. Beaver is responsible for all worldwide technology alliances, channels and OEM partnerships. With more than 20 years of experience in the network analytics field, Mr. Beaver brings deep expertise and market knowledge to VSS Monitoring. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Sales at NetScout Systems for 10 years, and as the Vice President, Worldwide Sales at Boundary, a cloud computing analytics company, through LightSpeed Ventures. He holds a joint BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
