MALVERN, Pa. - Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (NYSE: VPG) today announced that its VPG Processing Weighing division will be demonstrating the company's BLH instrumentation and load cell modules at PROCESS EXPO - the premier worldwide food and beverage equipment and technology show - taking place Nov. 1-4 at McCormick Place, South Hall, in Chicago.
In booth 3355, VPG will showcase its Process Weighing division's BLH instrumentation and load cells for a wide variety of applications in the food and beverage industry, including mixing, batching, dispensing, flow measurement, conveying, crane weighing, and more.
BLH instrumentation features digital dynamic filtering, standalone control (or connection to PAC/PLC), expandable I/O to 128 points, and active background diagnostics. With an instrument update rate up to 800 per second, communication protocols for the instruments include DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Allen-Bradley Remote I/O, and Profibus DP.
BLH load cell modules offer dynamic environment accuracy of 0.01%, electronic calibration, single- and multi-scale control (up to eight six-load-cell systems), and a degrade mode to eliminate downtime. With KIS load cells, the modules experience no side-load or thermal-expansion effect due to mixing or agitation.
