Updated Brochure Details Durability and Versatility of Special-Lite Monumental Doors

The revised literature from Special-Lite describes the company's heavy-duty stile and rail doors that are specifically designed to provide functionality, security, and long service life. They're ideally suited for the needs of the educational, institutional, commercial, or religious facility entrances where high traffic is often a primary concern.

Special-Lite SL-14 Medium Stile and SL-15 Wide Stile Monumental Doors are both highlighted in the brochure. Their exclusive design provides more durability and longer life than stile and rail doors with welded corner construction.

For instance, the new literature notes that Special-Lite's Monumental Doors feature one-piece aluminum alloy stiles and rails in 1-3/4 inch standard thickness, true mortise and tenon joinery, full-width top and bottom tie rods secured with hex nuts, and integral exterior glass stops. These features add security, strength, and resilience.

What's more, the brochure points out that their maintenance-free surfaces further add to the durability of their doors. Because their Monumental Doors feature Class 1 (0.7 mil) anodized aluminum finishes, they never need painting, cannot rust and will retain a new looking appearance for years with only routine cleaning.

Many of the customizable options that the company offers are noted. Their Mid-Rail is a one-piece extrusion that further strengthens the door and adds durability. A nice design accent, the Mid-Panel can protect the center portion of the door in locations prone to heavy traffic. Framing, recessed pulls, panels, and muntins are also available options.
