NORCROSS, GA (Feb. 18, 2011) - On March 3, 2011 at 2p.m. (EST), expert economists from Reed Construction Data (www.reedconstructiondata.com/), the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America (www.agc.org/) and the American Institute of Architects (www.aia.org/) join forces to host "Construction: Time to Spring Forward?" - a webcast focused on examining the current market conditions and detail of the U.S. construction outlook for 2011.
The webcast will follow chief economists Jim Haughey, Ken Simonson and Kermit Baker as they discuss and analyze:
o Will the end of harsh winter weather reverse the recent decline in construction spending?
o Investors are again looking at commercial real estate lending. How long before this restored access to capital results in higher construction starts?
o Will President Obama's call to abolish Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac help or hurt housing in 2011?
o Will Congress approve President Obama's request for more federal infrastructure spending?
o How much cost inflation will come with the construction spending recovery?
The webcast will be broadcast live starting at 2 p.m. (EST). Registration is complimentary for all participants; pre‐registration is required.
