For the Ogura clutch models 2.5 (150 ft-lbs) and 3.5 (250 ft-lbs) the outputs are now available with a universal mounting flange. This provides us the following advantages to customers.
o Customers can now use one base clutch and a variety of different pulleys to handle their different applications. Thereby reducing their purchased inventory dollars.
o Rather than keeping full units with pulleys on the shelf, customers can keep only a few base models and then a variety of pulleys to handle their service requirements, reducing their dealers and distributors inventory cost.
o No restriction in pulley diameter. Customers can use whatever pulley diameter they like (within acceptable bearing loading conditions)
o Faster deliver. Instead of customers waiting for long lead times for special pulley configurations, base clutches will be available from stock reducing both lead time and eliminating the need for minimum production orders.
