Underwater Kinetics Purchases HangAir® Product Line

POWAY, CA. (September 24, 2007) - Underwater Kinetics (a.k.a. UK International) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of HangAir®, Inc.- designers and manufacturers of the HangAir® Drying System. UK's strategy is to keep the original product name but market it under the Underwater Kinetics brand name.

"Underwater Kinetics already satisfies a premium position with our current injected molded hangars," said Mike Fattori, Sales Director for the Dive, Outdoor & Government divisions for UK. "For years scuba divers have relied on Underwater Kinetics' products to hang and dry their wet suits, dry suits, BC's and accessories, ultimately getting them off the floor, allowing them to drip dry, therefore increasing their life span. With the addition of the HangAir® Drying System to our existing product line we see a clear opportunity to expand our current leadership role in the hangar market," said Fattori.

First launched in September, 2006 at the ASR show, the HangAir® Drying System was designed to address two common needs; to safely dry thick protective clothing, rain suits, wetsuits, drysuits, and turnout gear so they can be used daily, and to eliminate the odor caused by moisture and mildew. By implementing the use of a powerful 130-cubic-feet-per-minute waterproof fan the HangAir® product is capable of thoroughly drying apparel and gear in approximately eight hours (depending upon temperature and humidity levels) as apposed to the usual drying time of 24 - 48 hours if left to drip dry. The HangAir® Drying System has a MSRP of $39.99.

Under the sales marketing strategies of Underwater Kinetics, the HangAir® product line will now be marketed to a broader base of consumers, ranging from water and winter sports enthusiast to industrial professionals, fire-fighters and rescue workers.

The HangAir®, Inc. acquisition, along with the company's recent transition into the outdoor marketplace will form the cornerstones for Underwater Kinetics' new strategic business plan.
