UFP Technologies Receives AS9100C:2009 Certification

UFP Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: UFPT), a producer of innovative custom-engineered components, products and specialty packaging, today announced that its Denver, Colorado manufacturing facility has received AS9100C:2009 certification.

UFP Technologies services the aerospace and defense industry by providing custom solutions including sound management components, protective cases and inserts, explosive suppressant foam, tool control trays for FOD prevention programs and uniform and gear components.

This certification allows UFP Technologies to provide its aerospace and defense customers improved: process quality, safety of products, traceability throughout the supply chain and ultimately enhanced customer satisfaction.

The AS9100C:2009 certification specifies that UFP Technologies maintains Quality Management Systems for the fabrication and supply of cellular foam plastics and other engineered substrates and composite materials in bulk and component part form.
