Tufts Medical Center Automates Anesthesia Record with Plexus Information Systems' AIMS

Boston — Plexus Information Systems, Inc. (Plexus IS), a market-leading provider of Anesthesia Information Management Systems (AIMS), announced today that Tufts Medical Center went live with Anesthesia Touch™, a full-featured AIMS that automates the anesthesia documentation process.The clinicians utilize the iOS iPad technology in their preoperative and postoperative rooms and the Windows touchscreen technology in their intraoperative rooms.  Tufts Medical Center is an academic medical center located in downtown Boston, Massachusetts, home to both a full-service hospital for adults and Floating Hospital for Children. 

Plexus IS' Anesthesia Touch improves workflow processes, enhances patient safety and increases mobility for Tufts Medical Center's anesthesia providers. The tight integration by Anesthesia Touch with other systems and equipment in their operating rooms enhances communication between their perioperative personnel.
