Black is co-author of the "Handbook of Induction Heating", published by Marcel Dekker in 2003 and co-author of the "Steel Heat Treatment Handbook", also published by Dekker in 1997. Both are relied upon as a main resource and reference in the industry. Black has also contributed to a number of different articles on induction heating published in Industrial Heating, Process Heating and Advanced Materials & Processes. He is also an active member of the ASM International - (American Society for Metals).

Tucker Induction Systems, Inc., is known as the problem solvers in the induction heating industry. Tucker is also well known as the designer of the industry's first interchangeable quick-change coils for two-turns and single shot designs with correct clamping pressure. These make induction heating systems more efficient by allowing operators to only change coils, quenches or buses as needed rather than replace the entire assembly. This speeds set-up and minimizes downtime. This innovation made coil updates, part changeovers and repairs easier, faster and more economical.
Automotive OEMs, Tier Suppliers, Off Highway Vehicle Manufacturers and Farm Implement Equipment Suppliers are Tucker Induction Systems main customer base. Appliance, Tooling and general metalworking manufacturers are also users of Tucker induction heating equipment. For more information contact:
