SCTE Cable Tec Expo: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Wednesday, June 25, 2008), Trilithic Inc, the leading provider of cutting-edge communications test instruments and systems, today announced that the company is developing an application to integrate with Ventyx, a leading mobile enterprise workforce management (WFM) provider, which will give cable operators powerful new tools to manage field technicians, enforce technical performance and track work quality.
Drawing information from both the Ventyx WFM database and the Trilithic TDM Field Measurements database, Trilithic's TDM System gives the operator new tools for managing his field force. Reports enable quick, easy analysis to determine the degree of compliance with the cable system's installation and maintenance procedures. Managers and supervisors use reports to identify particular individuals or organizations who would benefit from additional training and coaching. The new TDM application is highly scalable, filling the needs of several management levels, allowing analysis to be summarized or detailed.
Reports can present simple "figures of merit" or provide detailed analyses down to individual work orders and specific measurements. Reports can detail the work of one technician or the performance of an entire division.
