WINDSOR, Ontario. April 27, 2009- Recognizing manufacturers need long-lasting, cost-saving welding products-especially during these tough economic times-Tregaskiss will showcase its innovative MIG welding guns and consumables at the Western Manufacturing Technology Show & Conference 2009 (WMTS), June 16 to 18 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The company will share Booth #2044 with other companies from ITW Welding North America, including Miller Electric Mfg. Co.
Among the products Tregaskiss will showcase are its semi-automatic TOUGH GUN(TM) Air- and Water-Cooled MIG Guns. Each MIG gun is built-to-order and features durable, easy-to-maintain components that lower the total cost of manufacturers owning the products. The TOUGH GUN MIG Guns also feature Tregaskiss' Lifetime Warranty on handles and switches-if either component breaks, Tregaskiss will replace them for free. Additionally, TOUGH GUN Air-Cooled MIG Gun models include Tregaskiss' exclusive cost-saving Double-Life Gun System: identical front and back end connections that can be interchanged when the front end or cable becomes worn, saving time and money for full gun replacements.
TOUGH GUN MIG Guns all include Tregaskiss' patented TOUGH LOCK(TM) Contact Tip System, featuring contact tips that can be rotated 180 degrees to create a new wear position and extend tip life. The system also has a tapered retaining head that locks the contact tip in place to ensure good weld quality and reduce costly rework.
Tregaskiss also offers its QUICK LOAD(TM) Liner system for the guns. This system allows a new liner to be installed from the front end of the MIG gun, requiring less than half the time of a conventional liner replacement.
