WINDSOR, Ontario. July 14, 2008-Tregaskiss will attend the FABTECH International/AWS Welding Show in Las Vegas, October 6 to 8. Products to be displayed at Booth #12079 include the TOUGH GUN(TM) ThruArm(TM) Series with LSR (Low-Stress Robotic) Unicable technology and the new QUICK LOAD(TM) Gooseneck System for TOUGH GUN MIG Guns.
At 100% Duty Cycle, the TOUGH GUN ThruArm Series robotic gun with LSR (Low-Stress Robotic) Unicable technology provides 500 amps air-cooled capacity with CO2 and 350 amps with mixed gases (based on NEMA standards). It has been designed to minimize downtime and improve welding performance on today's thru-arm robotic welding systems, including those by FANUC, OTC Daihen, ABB and Motoman. Tregaskiss' LSR Unicables include a rotating power connection that relieves stress caused by routine torsion and a protective conduit to shield the cable components from harsh welding environments. Tregaskiss guarantees the LSR Unicables with a 2-year limited warranty.
Tregaskiss' QUICK LOAD Gooseneck System for its curved handle TOUGH GUN MIG Guns allows welding operators to change gooseneck combinations quickly and easily for each of their welding applications. Available in a range of lengths and angles, goosenecks can be rotated 360 degrees, via the system's quick-release feature, to reach awkward joints or weld in confined areas. This feature requires only the opening and closing of a simple latch to adjust the gooseneck to the desired angle. The QUICK LOAD Gooseneck System can be combined with Tregaskiss' QUICK LOAD Liner system, which allows a new liner to be installed from the front end of the MIG gun, saving time and money compared to full liner installations.
