Blasogrind HC 5 is a high performance grinding oil based on synthetic oil (hydro-racked oil). Operations include surface-grinding, cylindrical-grinding, fine profile-grinding, tool grind and re-grinding as well as lapping. Materials include steel, hardening and tempering steels, high speed steel, hard alloy and stainless steel, and carbide.
Blasogrind HC 5 has excellent wetting and rinsing behavior; improves surface quality and grinding wheel life. It has a high flash point and reduced emissions as compared to mineral oils. Blasogrind HC 5 is especially suitable for grinding of tungsten carbide without cobalt leaching.
