Trans Iowa Equipment And Nebraska Environmental Products Named Authorized Elgin and Vactor Dealers in Iowa and Nebraska

ELGIN, Ill. (July 15, 2008) - Federal Signal's Environmental Solutions Group is pleased to announce that Trans Iowa Equipment, Inc., headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, and Nebraska Environmental Products of Lincoln, Neb., are authorized sales and service dealers for Elgin Sweeper and Vactor Manufacturing in Iowa and Nebraska. The dealers also offer full parts inventory, service, road service and rentals.

"We are extremely pleased to be expanding our dealer relationship with Trans Iowa Equipment and Nebraska Environmental Products as part of our on-going efforts to serve our customers in Iowa and Nebraska," said Mike Higgins, vice president of sales and marketing for Federal Signal's Environmental Solutions Group.

Trans Iowa Equipment was purchased in 2005 by St. Paul, Minn.-based MacQueen Equipment, Inc., an authorized sales and service dealer for Elgin Sweeper and Vactor Manufacturing in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Nebraska Environmental Products is a new, startup company under the MacQueen family of companies, which include MacQueen Equipment, Inc., Bruce Municipal Equipment, Inc., located in Menomonee Falls, Wis., and Trans Iowa Equipment, Inc.

"Bruce Municipal Equipment and MacQueen Equipment have been selling and supporting Elgin sweepers and Vactor combination sewer cleaners, jetters and vacuum excavators to the municipal and contractor market in Minnesota and Wisconsin since 1956 and 1961, respectively," said Dan Gage, vice president of sales for MacQueen Equipment. "We are very proud to have the opportunity to now serve in that same capacity in Iowa and Nebraska."

Following the purchase by MacQueen Equipment, Trans Iowa Equipment relocated its headquarters to a more than 8,000 square foot facility in Ankeny, Iowa, just north of the city of Des Moines. Gage added that Nebraska Environmental Products operates out of a new, 5,600 square foot facility in Lincoln. "The new Ankeny and Lincoln facilities both provide the same high level of sales, service and parts support our customers have come to expect from the Elgin and Vactor brands," Gage said.

"Trans Iowa Equipment has a distinguished history of providing a wide range of equipment and services to the cities and counties of Iowa, going back to 1956. And, by every indication, Nebraska Environmental Products will have an equally impressive history in the years to come in Nebraska," Higgins said. "We are confident that these dealers, with their MacQueen Equipment ownership, will do an outstanding job representing the Elgin and Vactor brands as well."
