Major Testing Techniques for Plastics Focus of ASTM International Training



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., -The basic principles, techniques and equipment used in physical and analytical measurements of plastics characteristics will be introduced in Major Testing Techniques for Plastics, a three-day technical and professional training course presented by ASTM International.

The 2012 classes will be held: May 29-31 in Akron, Ohio (Akron Polymer Training Center, University of Akron); Aug. 7-9 in Boston, Mass.; and Oct. 30-Nov.1 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Technicians, shop foremen, sales representatives, professionals new to the field of testing, laboratory supervisors and managers accountable for quality assurance, and anyone who needs knowledge of standardized test methods will find this course especially beneficial. Practical applications of the course material will be emphasized. Video demonstrations of various tests will be presented throughout the course.
