Toyota Names Jeff Reid National Information Technology Manager


IRVINE, Calif., (December 12, 2007) - Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) today announced the appointment of Jeff Reid to the position of national information technology manager.

"Jeff appears to be a great fit for our organization, and we're glad to have him join the team" said Shankar Basu, president and CEO of TMHU."

In his new position, Reid will be responsible for the overall research, development and management of all technology-related systems and activities for TMHU.

Previously, he was vice president for Conexant Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader of semiconductor solutions for broadband communications, convergence video, networking and Voice-Over-Internet Protocol.

Reid holds a bachelor's degree in management from Arizona State University in Tempe where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a member of the Southern California Society of Information Management and has acted as judge for the AeA Orange County Council High Tech Innovation Awards.

Reid resides in Mission Viejo, Calif., with his wife Helen, and their three children.
