2L inc.'s Patent Pending Tough Tip Engraving Tool addresses the issue of tip breakage when engraving tougher materials such as stainless steel. The revolutionary design retains the maximum amount of material at the tool tip for maximum strength.

Source 2L inc - Hudson, Massachusetts - 2L inc. announced today that it is accepting orders for its' high-performance, patent pending Tough Tip Engraving Tool.

"The 2L Tough Tip Engraving Tool offers a significant advancement in engraving tool design, offering increased tool strength and tool life when marking steel and stainless steel" noted the company spokesman.

"The tool was specifically developed to address a need for an exceptionally durable tool that would last longer while engraving harder materials." Added the company spokesman, "The Tough Tip Tool's unique "V" design maximizes the tip strength of the tool by removing a minimum amount of material from the tool end; retaining the maximum amount of tool material significantly strengthens the tool tip and increases the tool life."

The Tough Tip Engraving Tool can be used with the patented 2L Spring Loaded Engraving Toolholder, CNC milling machines, Hand Held Engraving Machines, and Industrial Marking Equipment.

The Tough Tip Engraving Tools are solid carbide, and are available in diameters of 1/8", 3/16", 11/64" and 1/4", lengths of 2", 4.5" and 6.5" and tip widths of .010", .015", .020", and .030".

The 2L Engraving and Cutting Tool line continues to grow, offering a wide variety of precision-made solid carbide engraving tools and burnishing tools.
