IRVINE, Calif. -- Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today unveiled its completely redesigned version of its premium lines of Satellite(R) P Series and S Series laptops with the latest quad-core 4th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processors(1). Packed with entertainment-optimized features and performance for greater everyday computing power, plus HD multimedia enjoyment and creation, these laptops boast all-new sophisticated and significantly thinner designs in brushed Aluminum. In addition, Toshiba today introduced its new mainstream Satellite L Series and entry-level Satellite C Series laptops.

Satellite P Series: Built to Entertain. Powered to Perform.

Packed with premium features and sophisticated styling, the completely redesigned Satellite P Series is designed to kick mobile entertainment into high gear with a responsive touchscreen display, powerful 4th generation Intel Core processors, spacious hard drives up to 1TB(2), up to 16GB 1600MHz DDR3L memory(3) on the 15-inch model and 32GB on the 17.3-inch model, and optional NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 740M graphics(4) with 2GB DRR3 video memory and battery-saving NVIDIA(R) Optimus(TM) technology.



Now up to 25 percent thinner than the previous generation, the new Satellite P Series features sophisticated styling with a modern Skyline design, featuring edge-to-edge LCD glass, a frameless LED-backlit keyboard and rounded corners with a cool Aluminum finish in Prestige Silver.



The Satellite P Series laptops include everything needed for an incredible entertainment experience. Available with 15.6- or 17.3-inch diagonal Full HD, TruBrite(R) displays(5) that provide amazing color, clarity and contrast, the laptops also feature DTS(R) Studio Sound(TM) and premium Harman Kardon(R) speakers with Slipstream(TM) port technology that reduces distortion and creates more precise, rich sound for movies and music. The 15.6-inch laptops are available in both touch and non-touchscreen models, while the 17.3-inch model is only available with a standard display. These laptops also provide 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) HDMI(R) output so users can splash their movies and games on the latest 4K TVs and enjoy four times the image resolution of full HD content as well as Toshiba's convenient Sleep & Music(6) and improved USB 3.0 Sleep & Charge(7) features to use the laptops as an audio dock and charger for a phone or tablet even when the laptop is off.



Satellite S Series: Upscale Style and Premium Performance

Toshiba's latest Satellite S Series laptops were designed for consumers looking for multi-purpose systems for everyday computing. The new Satellite S Series laptops are great all-around PCs that deliver superior performance and advanced features for both entertainment and productivity - all packed into a thin, sleek design. Encased in an eye-catching brushed Aluminum chassis in Ice Silver, the S Series laptops are equipped with powerful 4th generation Intel Core processors and optional NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics with 2GB DRR3 video memory, making work and play a true pleasure.



The Satellite S series laptops are available in 14-, 15.6- and 17.3-inch diagonal TruBrite display configurations with touchscreen and non-touchscreen options. The 15.6- and 17.3-inch models can also be configured with Full HD displays. They also include large button-less touchpads with modern gesture support for making the most of Windows 8 and can be configured with up to 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of fast 1600MHz DDR3L memory, enough to store full collections of HD content, music and power through the latest games. In addition, the Satellite S Series laptops include Toshiba's USB Sleep & Charge technology, which allow users to charge USB-powered electronics while the laptop is powered down.



Satellite L Series: Performance. Style. Versatility.

Offering the perfect mix of style, performance and versatility, the completely redesigned Satellite L Series now features Toshiba's sleek Skyline design and attractive Fusion(R) finish with large button-less touchpads for taking advantage of Windows 8 gestures. Available in 14-, 15.6-inch diagonal configurations with or without a touchscreen display as well as a 17.3-inch model, the Satellite L Series is designed for people looking for a value-packed PC to stay fully connected, productive and entertained. The 14- and 15.6-inch Satellite L Series models also sport dramatically thinner designs - just 3.5mm thicker than an Ultrabook(TM).



Powered by 4(th) generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processors from Intel(R) or the latest Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) from AMD, the laptops can be configured with up to 1TB of storage, 8GB of DDR3 memory and include a full array of ports, including USB 3.0 with enhanced USB Sleep & Charge and a full-size SD card slot. Satellite C Series: Modern Essential Computing

Toshiba's Satellite C Series laptops offer budget-conscious consumers the essentials needed for everyday computing, including basic performance and power, portability, style and a comfortable keyboard - all at a great price. They feature a sleeker design than the previous generation C Series laptops, as well as a full-sized keyboard with a 10-key numeric pad, an HD webcam, DVD SuperMulti optical drive and a variety of ports, including HDMI output, USB 3.0 and a media card reader.



The Satellite C Series will be available in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch diagonal TruBrite display configurations with touchscreen and non-touchscreen options, as well as a choice of AMD E Series or A4 processors or Intel Celeron(R), Pentium(R) or Core i3 processors, making them ideal for browsing the Web, socializing, emailing, entertainment and multitasking. Additionally, these new laptops sport a Trax Horizon or Fusion Horizon Finish coating in silver, black or white.

The new Satellite P Series will be available on June 9, 2013, exclusively at Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com, starting at $754.99 MSRP(10).



The Satellite S Series will be available on June 9, 2013, starting at $699.99 MSRP for models with 3rd generation Intel Core processors and $799.99 MSRP for configurations with 4th generation Intel Core processors.



The Satellite C Series starts at $499.99 MSRP and the Satellite L Series starts at $699.99 MSRP, starting in mid-June.
