Innovations offer improved barrier performance and support sustainability initiatives; new high-barrier metallized PET film to be introduced

(www.torayfilms.com), announces that at Pack Expo International 2008 it will feature advanced co-extruded polypropylene (OPP) and polyester (PET) film technologies designed to help end users grow business and to support their sustainability initiatives. New Lumirror® MK61 high-barrier metallized PET film with industry-leading barrier and metal bonds and created for foil-replacement and high-barrier applications, Torayfan® OPP ultrahigh-barrier clear and metallized films, Lumirror high-clarity matte films, and thin, foil- and PVdC-free films are among the sophisticated, versatile packaging technologies to be presented by Toray Plastics (America), Inc., at booth S-2941.
