Expanded facilities in Charlotte, NC and Houston, TX offer greater support to local motor customers
SCHAUMBURG, Illinois - October 15, 2010 - Toolmex Corporation announced today that it has opened two additional motor warehouses to expanded 3PL facilities in Charlotte, NC and Houston, TX. The latest move from Toolmex will enable the company to provide increased support, greater inventory selection and faster shipping to local customers purchasing Elektrim® and Elektrimax® AC TEFC motors.
"Improving service to our customers is a top priority," said Bob Gross, Toolmex Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "By consolidating our smaller local stocking facilities into larger regional distribution centers, we can better support our partners with a broader selection of inventory. It will also allow us to ensure that a cost-efficient logistics structure is in place to handle the anticipated increase in product volume."
Managed by Pilot Freight Services, a full service global transportation and logistics company with over 75 locations throughout North America, the two new distribution centers in Charlotte, NC and Houston, TX are just the beginning of a comprehensive plan to improve customer service and product availability, says Klaudius Kielb, Supply Chain Manager. In addition to same day shipping on orders processed before 2PM, the shipping centers are expect to provide local customers same day service for pickups, 8:00AM - 5:00PM EST Monday thru Friday as standard.
Located at 3400 International Airport Drive, the Charlotte, NC facility is located just south of Douglas International Airport off of 160-South. The Houston, TX facility is easily accessed by I-45, US-59, the Hardy Toll Road or the Texas 8 Beltway, and is located just south of the George Bush Intercontinental Houston Airport.

In addition to improving inventory logistics for their customers, Toolmex has a long history regularly developing new technologies for their comprehensive motors lines, such as the addition of several definite purpose motor lines as well as the recently introduced Elektrimax Premium Efficiency motors. Designed to meet the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, which goes into effect on December 19th, Elektrimax Premium motors are built better with more materials than their EPACT counterparts. Elektrimax Premium motors save on energy and last longer with reduced downtimes, thereby saving users money during operation as well as reducing the likelihood of replacement for years to come.
