Tom Piatak Named President & Chief Executive Officer of MHF Logistical Solutions


PITTSBURGH, PA (October 29, 2007) - MHF Logistical Solutions, Inc. (MHF-LS), a leading provider of packaging, transportation and logistics, announced today that Tom Piatak has been named president and chief executive officer.

Piatak is a transportation industry veteran with extensive experience managing rail and intermodal operations.

In his new role, Piatak is responsible for overseeing all business operations, including business development, finance and administration, project development, and safety and quality assurance.

Prior to joining MHF-LS, Piatak was president and chief operations officer for VEXURE, a Jacksonville, Florida-based privately held complete transportation and logistics provider specializing in transportation management, intermodal operations, contract logistics and expedited transportation. Piatak contributed to the company's success by aligning top-line management to facilitate revenue growth from $42 million to $178 million over a four-year period.

Piatak's resume also includes executive level management roles with Hyannis, Massachusetts-based Infinium Software, where he was vice president of sales and marketing-transportation and over nine years with CSX Transportation's premier product line, CSX TransFlo, also based out of Jacksonville, as assistant vice president of sales and marketing.

Piatak is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he majored in civil engineering management. Additionally, he also holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of North Florida.
Upon graduating from West Point, Piatak served as a captain with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during Operation Desert Storm.
