TimBar Packaging & Display Received two Operation Safe Shop Awards Presented by the AICC
TimBar Packaging Display received two Operation Safe Shop awards presented by the AICC (Association of Independent Corrugated Converters) at the organization’s Annual Meeting which was held last week in Nashville, Tennessee. Conducted every two years, the Operation Safe Shop competition recognizes the safety accomplishments of independent corrugator, sheet, folding carton and rigid box plants. They consider safety policies, owner commitment, safety practices, training procedures, safety awareness methods, accident prevention techniques and maintenance programs. This year TimBar’s Miami Division was recognized under the Corrugator Plant Division and the company’s Gallatin Division was recognized under the Sheet Plant category. “Safety remains a top priority at TimBar Packaging & Display”, stated Vicki Salyer, Director of Environmental, Safety and Health for TimBar. “We are proud to have been recognized but also know there is still opportunity for improvement as we strive to achieve our goal of a TCIR less than 1 consistently year after year”.
