Three Luxaire® Acclimate(TM) Units Designated ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2014

MILWAUKEE – Three Luxaire® Acclimate™ products from Johnson Controls, a global multi-industrial company, recently received ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient 2014 designation.
Two Acclimate AL8B split system air conditioners and one Acclimate HL8B heat pump were recognized as the most efficient products among those that qualify for ENERGY STAR when they are combined with the Acclimate Residential Communicating Control.
Equipment receiving the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2014 designation must demonstrate performance levels of 18.0 Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER), 12.5 Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) and 9.6 Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF). Other required features include:
 • Two-way communications with the system controller
 • Fault code transmission to the indoor controller
 • Automated configuration
The ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2014 Luxaire products also provide diagnostic and setup information in plain text as well as access to outside temperature data.
