ThomasNet® to Fire Up Social Media Presentation at BLAZE, The 2013 Business Marketing Association (BMA) Conference


Company’s Director of Digital Media, Philip Paranicas, to Address 700 Business-to-Business Marketers at Annual Event May 30 in Chicago



Chicago, IL — Philip Paranicas, the Director of Digital Media at ThomasNet®, is advising business-to-business (B2B) marketers from around the globe to “grow up and get a social media strategy.”



Mr. Paranicas will present on B2B social media during the 2013 Business Marketing Association (BMA) Conference, the largest B2B marketing event in the world, taking place May 29-31 in Chicago. The BMA is calling this year’s conference BLAZE because B2B marketers are dealing with change at blazing speed, and also blazing new paths to growth. More than 700 participants are already registered, representing such companies as Caterpillar, Dow Corning, Graybar, Google, IBM, John Deere, Motorola Solutions, Parker Hannifin, and Raytheon.



In line with the BLAZE theme, Mr. Paranicas has been chosen as a “Firestarter” presenter. Firestarters are brief idea-sharing sessions designed to inspire, excite and even provoke. During his presentation, Mr. Paranicas will draw from his experience leading ThomasNet’s Digital Media Solutions group, which has helped hundreds of manufacturers develop social media programs to improve their brand awareness.
