New Products Include Ty-Duct End Caps, Mounting Clips, Wire Retainers, and Adhesive Dividers
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (March 19, 2008) - Thomas & Betts has four exciting new options for its versatile and innovative Ty-Duct® wiring ducts. Panel and machine builders can now select Ty-Duct End Caps, Mounting Clips, Wire Retainers, and Adhesive Dividers. These new accessories improve the performance and simplify the installation of Ty-Duct wiring ducts, which are already a popular, easy-to-install solution for routing and concealing wiring in control panels.
Ty-Duct End Caps are a unique feature available only from Thomas & Betts. Made from the same durable PVC material as the Ty-Duct wiring duct and available in a variety of matching colors, these end caps provide a clean, "finished" look to the installation. The end cap can be modified to fit any size duct from one to six inches.
Ty-Duct Mounting Clips separate the duct from the surface of the panel in high-temperature applications. Made from stainless steel 0.03 inches thick, these mounting clips increase the speed of installation and allow for removal of the duct. They can be riveted or screwed in place with no special hardware. Plus, they can be mounted at any point on the duct, rather than having to align with mounting holes, which reduces scrap during installation. Ty-Duct Mounting Clips are available in one-inch, one-and-a half-inch, two-inch, and three-inch sizes.
Ty-Duct Wire Retainers temporarily hold wires in place during installation and the routing process, saving time and money. These wire retainers are made from a clear polycarbonate that can withstand high temperatures. They fit any size and type of duct, so installers only need one product for every application.
Ty-Duct Adhesive Dividers are a quick and simple way for installers to divide wiring duct. They are made from the same durable PVC material as the Ty-Duct wiring duct and are available in a variety of matching colors.
