ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. -- Screen (USA) has announced the expansion of its product management team to reflect the growing market for the company's digital printing solutions. Industry veteran Thomas Leibrandt was appointed to the newly created position of print-on-demand product manager.

Leibrandt will provide critical support for the Screen (USA) sales force. He will be responsible for developing the appropriate analytical and marketing tools necessary to maximize sales efforts for the Truepress family of direct imaging, variable data and wide-format digital printing devices. The new staff position will enable Screen (USA) to more effectively serve existing and prospective customers for its workflow, computer-to-plate (CTP) and digital printing products, according to Fox.

"Having expert product managers each focusing on our core market areas will allow us to build on recent sales momentum with a variety of new materials supporting our product lines," Fox said.

Leibrandt has held a variety of graphics industry positions. He served as product manager at Sakurai USA, Inc. Most recently, he was worldwide product manager for direct imaging products at Presstek Inc.
