San Jose, CA, 95134
USA

Press release date: June 19, 2007

BOSTON, Enterprise 2.0 Conference, June 19 -- ThinkFree, Inc., developer of the first online office productivity suite, today announced ThinkFree Premium: Beta Edition, the most Microsoft-compatible online/offline hybrid office suite.

Combining the convenience of server-based computing with the power and portability of Web applications and the performance of desktop-based applications, ThinkFree Premium gives users access to edit Microsoft Office files, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, online and offline.

ThinkFree welcomes users to apply to become Premium Beta testers at http://product.thinkfree.com/premium.

Geared for corporate, education, home and small to medium business environments, ThinkFree Premium Edition uses Web 2.0 and Java technology to create a productivity solution that allows users to access their applications and documents on the desktop and also on the Web. ThinkFree Premium delivers collaboration features that include:

-- Invitations through e-mail to collaborate and receive input

-- Revision control, rollback, file locking and multiple levels of access control to ensure complete control over the final document

-- The ability to publish documents to the ThinkFree Docs community, a designated Web page, blog or Internet application

-- Document tagging for better organizing, categorizing and searching

-- Document conversion to HTML for quick viewing within a browser

"People today live a mobile lifestyle, and the ability to access their favorite productivity tools from anywhere is key to being efficient and effective," said TJ Kang, CEO of ThinkFree. "Mobility can mean traveling without your laptop and connecting to your files online. But, it also needs to include the ability to travel with your laptop to unconnected environments, such as when you're sitting on an airplane or in the waiting room of your child's orthodontist. Premium Edition offers the best of both worlds - the collaboration and anywhere access of the Internet with the speed, reliability and security of a desktop application."

ThinkFree Premium Edition provides offline access to authoring and editing tools, unlimited storage, file synchronization, smart save capabilities, archiving features and priority e-mail support. Users no longer need to depend on an Internet connection to access their documents - they can work online or offline, anywhere, anytime. Support for all major Web browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari, also gives users the choice of their preferred browser. Built-in multi-lingual support includes U.S. English, UK English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, simplified and traditional Chinese, Japanese and Turkish.

System requirements for ThinkFree Premium include:

-- Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

-- An Intel Pentium-compatible PC

-- 256 MB of RAM (512 MB or higher is recommended)

-- 100 MB of available hard disk space

Beginning in August, the monthly subscription fee will be $7 per user, and a 10 percent discount will be available for a yearly subscription, bringing the total down to $75 per user, per year.
