Thermostatic Industries announced that it had been granted a contract to fabricate and distribute 3M(TM) Nextel(TM) High temperature textiles. Thermostatic supplies the complete range of woven cloth of the Nextel High temperature product range which includes Nextel(TM) 312 Nextel(TM) 440 Nextel(TM) 550 Nextel(TM) Nextel(TM) 610 Nextel(TM) 720 fabrics. They also custom fabricate the associated ropes, textile gaskets, and fabric seals from the Nextel(TM) fabrics.
3M(TM) Nextel(TM) Woven Ceramic Fabrics are designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements and can be custom fabricated by Thermostatic to suit any unique application. Nextel(TM) Woven Ceramic Fabrics outperform the useful limits of other high temperature textiles such as aramids, carbon, glass or quartz. Nextel(TM) woven ceramic fabrics are engineered to perform at continuous temperatures of 2000°F (1093°C) or higher depending on application and composition.
