ASTM International Thermal Insulation Symposium Will Be Held in October



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., —ASTM International will host a symposium on Next-Generation Thermal Insulation Challenges and Opportunities Oct. 23-24, 2013, at the Hyatt Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Fla. Sponsored by ASTM International Committee C16 on Thermal Insulation, the symposium will be held in conjunction with the standards development meetings of the committee.



This symposium will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of current research in the field of insulation materials and systems. This includes innovations in material performance and installation, as well as advances that specifically address the challenges of achieving optimal long-term performance. The target audience includes members of C16, insulation manufacturers, insulation installers, national laboratories, academic institutions and testing laboratories.



Online registration opens approximately eight weeks before the symposium and closes Oct. 16. The attendance fees are: ASTM members - $215 USD online and $240 USD onsite; non-members - $240 USD online and $265 onsite; and presenters - $215 USD online and $240 USD onsite. There is no fee for students.
